The English–Spanish Bilingual Dictionary & Grammar Guide is a self-contained K–8 ESL reference tool designed to support vocabulary development, grammar instruction, and independent language learning. It includes 800 vocabulary entries and 125 grammar and punctuation topics, with content organized across K–2, 3–5, and 6–8 grade bands.
Teachers and students can search in either English or Spanish and filter content by grade level, category, part of speech, or grammar/punctuation type. Vocabulary entries provide English and Spanish translations, definitions, pronunciation information, parts of speech, categories, and contextual examples. Grammar entries combine concise rules with correct examples, common errors, explanations, and ESL-specific learning tips.
The interface can display information bilingually or in English- or Spanish-only modes, making it useful for differentiated instruction and gradual language immersion. Built-in browser speech synthesis provides pronunciation models for words and examples.
Because the application is offline-ready and requires no server, it can function as a classroom reference, student study aid, vocabulary support tool, or companion resource during reading, writing, and grammar activities.
