Word Scramble is a free, quick, timed vocabulary game for 1–6 players. Students see a Spanish word and an English clue (the definition), then unscramble the English word by typing it. The game uses the 800-word Ohio K-8 ESL list: sight words, academic vocabulary, Math, Science, Social Studies, ELA and test-direction verbs.
Setting up: Choose the number of players and enter names. Then pick the categories and grade bands (K-2, 3-5, 6-8) you want to practice. A live count shows how many words match. You can also set turns per player (default 3) and seconds per turn (default 60).
Playing: Each turn starts when the player presses Start. A correct answer moves to the next card automatically and scores 1 point. Students can use Hint to see an example sentence with the answer blanked out, or Skip a word without penalty. You can pause the clock, and the word is hidden while paused.
After the game: The results screen shows standings and each player's score per round. It also has a word review with each word's Spanish, pronunciation, definition and a "hear it" button. Missed words are grouped under "To practice," making them easy to revisit in class.
