Type: Browser-based maze game with embedded vocabulary quizzes (single HTML file, no install needed)
Subject: ESL/ELL vocabulary and functional English, leveled Starter → Core → Building
Gameplay: Students guide a robot through a maze to a goal tile. Touching an enemy "bot" triggers a multiple-choice vocabulary question (from a ~700-item bank); a correct answer clears the path, a wrong one costs a life (3 lives total). Every 5th level is a boss fight requiring three correct answers in a row.
Content: Everyday, classroom-relevant English — greetings, family, food, time/routines, directions, shopping, health, weather, hobbies — plus grammar in context (pronouns, present continuous, past/future tense, question words, clarification phrases).
Motivators: Answer streaks earn a Sword (removes 2 wrong choices, every 3 correct) and a Shield (blocks one life loss, every 5 correct), encouraging sustained accuracy over guessing.
Best use: Self-paced warm-up or independent practice for beginner-to-intermediate readers. Text-only (no word audio); no progress saving between sessions.
